On January 5, 2016 , The research projectSave the Tornetrask dolphin conducted a manifestation at Konstepedemin in Gothenburg in connection with 13festivalen. It was a political action where we showed a banner with the quote "If they rest on the sea bed with the swallows are still uncertain." (in swedish though) The quotation is from the Carl Von Linnes Skånsk resa in 1749. Then everyone thought that birds hibernated on the bottom of lakes. Today we know that it is not so.
After a speach, we held a minute of silence to manifest the animal's plight and existence. It all ended with that we celebrated a confetti cannon and the crowd applauded. Thanks to everyone who came!
