2010 was suppose to be the last time Lainio Cup was arranged. My father, player in IFK Kuoksu, asked me to photograph the day. The photographs are still waiting to be shown public. In 2020 - ten years after. My plan is to present the rainy cold day in a publication.
Lainio Cup is a long tradition where the small villages around Lainio meet each other for a soccer tournament. My father and his brothers has been playing for IFK Kuoksu since the 70s.
The game is on a sand-soccerfield in Lainio, in Torniovalley in the north of Sweden.
